The 73rd Republic day was observed across Kashmir. The main function was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium under high security where R R Bhatnagar, Advisor to LG unfurled the flag. Under tight security, Indian flag was unfurled on top of Ganta Ghar at the city center Lal Chowk. A martial art event was also organized on the occasion.
