Agencies have arrested a youth in Barmer district of Rajasthan, accusing him of spying for Pakistan and he is being taken to Jaipur, the capital, for further investigation, reported a regional newspaper, Dainik Bhaskar.
Two months ago, the intelligence agencies had recovered a large amount if heroine and fake notes. As per the newspaper, the arrested youth was connected with the same nexus.
The newspaper quoted unidentified sources stating that Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) arrested a resident of Barmer, Roshandin, who had been under the radar for a few days. He was operating a JCB under Bharat Mala Project, constructing roads near border with Pakistan, and he had been a regular visitor to the border.
The youth also has relatives settled in Pakistan, and he had been to the country several times in name of meeting them, reported the newspaper. During his visits, the source told Dainik Bhaskar that Pakistan’s ISI convinced him to spy for them.
