Contractual paramedical staff at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Monday asked authorities to extend their services until permanent posts are advertised. They said that SKIMS authorities have had assured them that their services would be extended but nothing has been done to date. They were primarily appointed on a contractual basis for 6 months.
