Three militants were killed in a brief gunfight in Mandoora area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Awantipora district on Friday, said police.
Inspector-General of Police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said that three militants have been killed in a brief gunfight. “However. the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained,” he said, reported a local news agency, GNS.
A joint team of Police, the army’s 42 Rashtriya Rifles, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area. (GNS)
