National Conference on Monday said that its MPs have expressed complete resentment on the delimitation commission draft on seat sharing.

This comes after Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that NC leaders were satisfied with the commision’s parameters.

Taking to Twitter, NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar while quoting the said news item wrote, “This is an absolute lie. There is no truth to what he is saying. JKNC MPs have expressed complete resentment on the delimitation commission draft on seat sharing. We expect Daily Excelsior to cross check the statement before pushing it.”

Earlier, speaking to media persons, the union minister said, “All the associate members committed themselves to cooperate with the functioning of the Commission. The Commission has done a tremendous job. We must appreciate they had followed certain laid down parameters on the basis of which they have come out with the documents which are very objectively done.”

He said National Conference (NC) members were also satisfied with the parameters which were being followed by the Delimitation Commission.
