Srinagar: A paramilitary CRPF personnel posted in city centre Lal Chowk in Srinagar, died of heart attack in the late hours on Tuesday, official sources said.

Official sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that Head constable, Irfan Ali son of Ali Mohammad of 132th battalion CRPF had a cardiac arrest at Court road Lal chowk area of Srinagar.

Irfan was shifted to SMHS hospital but at about 2130 hours doctors declared him dead, they said.

A police officer confirmed that the CRPF head constable died of a heart attack. (KDC)
