Srinagar: A 50-year-old private school teacher died of cardiac arrest at his native village in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday morning.

A local news gathering agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoting an unnamed official reported that a private school teacher Mohammad Ramzan Rather son of late Aarif Rather, a resident of Sheikh Mohalla Ajas, suffered a massive cardiac arrest today at his home.

He said that Rather was immediately taken to community health center Sumbal, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, the total number of deaths due to cardiac arrest in the valley has reached 12 in the last week—(KNO)
