Suspected militants shot dead a Sarpanch in Khonmoh area in the outskirts of Srinagar on Wednesday
Sources said that militants fired upon a Sarpanch who sustained critical injuries.
He was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The slain Sarpanch has been identified as Sameer Ahmed Bhat. (KNT)
