Over 31 percent voting recorded across Kashmir in third phase of DDC polls

Srinagar: The third phase of the ongoing eight-phased District Development Council (DDC) polls culminated on Friday during which saw over 50 per cent voter turnout across Jammu and Kashmir.

The polling was held today at 33 constituencies including 16 in Kashmir and 17 in the Jammu division.

As per the official figure, 31.61 percent voting was recorded in the Kashmir division while 68.88 percent polling was recorded in Jammu division.

“In the third phase of DDC polls, 50.53 percent voting was recorded in Jammu and Kashmir today,” official figure revealed, adding that the lowest voter turnout 10.87 percent was recorded in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district—(KNO)
