Police on Sunday claimed to have busted a fake licence module by arresting a person in Kishtwar district of Jammu division.

In a statement, the police said that Kishtwar police of police station Chatroo on a specific information regarding issuance of forged fake driving license by one computer shop owner namely Muddasir Hussain son of Habibullah resident of Batwari Tehsil Chatroo whos shop is situated at Bus Stand Chatroo.

The police spokesperson further stated that acting swiftly Inspector Sandeep Parihar SHO Police station Chatroo along with his team raided the said shop, recovered some forged/ fake driving licence and arrested the accused person and also seized the computer device.

Accordingly Case FIR No 30/2021 U/S 420/467/468 IPC 66 D IT Act was registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation taken up, reads the statement.(GNS)
