Authorities on Wednesday directed the Elementary Teachers Training (ETT) colleges to switch over online mode of education for three months in view of surge in COVID-19 cases.

The news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) has learnt that the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has said that decision was taken after representatives of ETT colleges providing trainings of Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education (D.EI.Ed) Institutes have approached them with a request that they be allowed to conduct online classes.

“In view of prevailing situation, online classes shall be conducted for a period of minimum 3 months with immediate effect from 12 May,” BOSE said—(KNO)
