Srinagar: A cop and his brother were found dead in a mysterious condition on Monday in armed police complex in Zewan area on Srinagar outskirts.
Two bodies were found in a suspicious condition in armed police residential quarter at Zewan, Srinagar.
A police official said that two bodies were found in a suspicious condition by Pantha chowk police at Zewan, who were later identified as Sameer Ji Koul of 9th BN Armed police and his brother Veer Ji Koul. He said that the actual cause of death will be ascertained after investigations.
He added that their dead bodies are lying in mortuary room of police hospital in Srinagar.
Case under section 174 CrPC has been registered and further investigation is going on, he added. (KNO)
