Srinagar : Border Security Forces on Monday shot dead a person who was allegedly trying to infiltrate the border along Samba sector of Jammu region.
SSP Samba Rajesh Sharma told a local news gathering agency GNS that 48 battalion of BSF foiled the infiltration bid along the Samba sector.
“Whether he is militant or a civilian was not immediately known. The area is already under alert,” he said. (GNS)
