Police on Monday said that it has arrested two accused persons, who had assaulted and looted a homeless old man in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar city.

In a tweet Srinagar Police wrote, “Two accused arrested for beating & looting a homeless old man in Lal chowk area around midnight time 2 days back.”

The accused persons have been identified as Furqaan Majeed Khan, a resident of Nowgam Kanipora and Danish Manzoor Ganie, a resident of Sopore.

“Both are drug addicts and criminal minded,” police said.(GNS)
