A 25-year-old woman died after drowning in a power canal in her native village at Gutlibagh in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on late Friday evening.
An official said that the woman identified as Shagufta drowned in a power canal in her native village.
He said that the woman’s body was retrieved from the power canal by the SDRF team late last night after hectic efforts. (KNO)
