After the Covid-19 pandemic, a 21-year-old resident of Srinagar has not just opened a pet store-cum-vet clinic but a homestead for fancy chickens.
The BBA qualified Akbar Tango, who lives in downtown’s Nawab Bazar area, is breeding several species of chicken including Japanese Bantam, British Siberite, Chinese Silkie, British Pekin, Irish Leghorn, Australian Black Australopithecus, Japanese Onagadori, French Estaires, Columbian Bantam, and American Buff Brahma.
