The road diversion of the passenger vehicles entering Anantnag in south Kashmir via bypass road at Ashajipora, has caused immense hardships to the patients.
The patients walk at least one kilometer to reach district hospital Anantnag at Janglat Mandi. Chairman Municipal Corporation Anantnag, Hilal Ahmad Shah said that the road diversion was important to avoid frequent traffic jam, however, there is a strict instruction to let patients pass.
