Local residents of Kakapora area in Pulwama district of south Kashmir today held a protest in Srinagar’s Press Enclave over the transfer of land to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
People were demanding that the government reconsider the decision of giving agricultural land to the paramilitary forces. As per locals, the government has identified about 100 kanals of land in the area for the purpose of it being transferred to the paramilitary forces.
