Moved by 2014 devastating floods, Abaan Habib, a class 12th student from Srinagar, has claimed to design a drone that can offer relief to people during a disaster.

The drone was recently exhibited in an event at Ahmadabad.

According to Abaan, they have a website and app with a panic button that people can press during an emergency.

The location of the panic button will be tracked by the drone, and it will arrive with disaster relief supplies such as medicines, first aid, and life jackets within minutes.

He has already tested the drone in real-time during mock drills conducted by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Reported by Asif Amin Edited by Tanweer Ahmad Padder
