A 394-year-old shrine situated in downtown Srinagar contains a holy relic, which locals believe is of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). As per the locals, the merchant family “Aasharya” has brought the holy relic from Iran to the valley. Many devotees visit the shrine during Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Meraj ul Alam for prayers. Locals said that the shrine also contains the belongings of Hazrat Ali (RA) and Imam Hussain (AS) as well.
