Srinagar: Following the surge in Covid-19 cases, Srinagar’s S.M.H.S. hospital has suspended its Out Patients Departments (OPDs).

Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that the hospital has suspended OPDs due to upsurge in Covid-19 cases.

They said that Hospital authorities have decided to perform only emergency surgeries while other surgeries have been stopped for the time-being.

The S.M.H.S. Hospital is the main secondary healthcare facility in Kashmir capital Srinagar. (KNT)
