Ghulam Mohiuddin Mir, a 62-year-old entrepreneur from the central Kashmir’s Budgam district finds his passion in lavender farming. According to Mir, “Lavender is the future of farming in Kashmir”. Mir urges young educated unemployed youth to join his hand for their better future. Mir has been cultivating lavender for the past five years and is among a few entrepreneurs in the valley who believe in lavender cultivation.
