Watch| 33-yrs of washing on the banks of Jhelum

For last 33-years, Abdul Rehman Mir – a washerman in downtown Srinagar has been washing fabrics and clothes, especially Pashmina, Tosha, Count shawls. Mir says that this traditional laundry work, on the banks of river Jhelum, doesn’t attract young generation and “only a few of us are left now in the valley”.
