A two storey house was partially damaged in a fire incident in Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday late night.

An official said that around 11:30 pm Monday late night fire broke out in a two storey residential house of Ghulam Rasool Khan son of late Abduk Razak Khan, a resident of Shah Mohalla Humhama.

Fire incident resulted in full damage to the roof top and partially damage to the second story of the said house, he said.

Fire was brought under control by the help of police, fire tenders and locals while there was no loss of life reported in the incident, he added.

He said that cause of fire is yet to be ascertained while further investigation has been taken up. (KS)
