The government forces on Monday morning claimed to have recovered some “suspicious explosive material” at the Pattan area along the Srinagar-Baramulla highway in north Kashmir, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

An unidentified official said the material, which was spotted by the Road Opening Party (ROP) of Army at Kutta mode in Pattan, was destroyed later by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), 29 RR, CRPF and Police without any loss of life or property. (KNO)
