Srinagar: The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded a maximum temperature of 15.0°C on Tuesday, which is the coldest June day since at least 1975.
The temperature remained 14.2°C below the normal as the rain continued to splash across the valley.
A temperature of 15.0°C is very common in February for Srinagar.
