A militant has been killed in the ongoing gunfight that broke out between militants and government forces in Nowgam area of Srinagar district on Wednesday evening, police said here.
Kashmir zone police, as per a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), informed that the gunfight started in the area on a specific information generated by police.
Police said that Police and Army’s 50 RR were on job and further details will be shared accordingly.
Police said that in the ensuing gunfight, one militant has been killed, while operation was going on.
