The convoy of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav met with an accident on Friday.
According to media reports, one of the vehicles that were part of the SP chief’s convoy hit a few other vehicles.
Akhilesh Yadav escaped unhurt, say media reports.
As many as six vehicles were damaged in the incident.
The SP chief was on his way to Baitha Pur village in Harpalpur to attend an event when the accident happened.
The accident happened when one of the drivers applied the break while negotiating a curve and the vehicles following it piled on it.
