Continuing its crackdown on drug menace, police arrested two more drug peddlers in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

In a statement, the police said that during naka checking yesterday at Vizer mode by Police Station Kreeri, two suspected persons namely Aadil Ahmad Rather son of Ab Hamid resident of Wagoora Azad Colony and Khalid Ahmad Bhat son of Mohd Sultan resident of Allapora Vizer were apprehended along with 250 grams of Charas like substance.

Both have been booked under NDPS Act and investigation is going on for further leads.

The spokesperson further stated that seventeen drug peddlers have been arrested till 11 April this month and the crackdown against drug menace will continue, reads the statement.(GNS)
