Over 1 lakh tourists have visited the famous Tulip Garden, located on the foothills of Zabarwan range in Srinagar, since it was opened for tourists on March 19.

Floriculture officer Tulip Garden, Shayiq Rasool said that around 1,16,071 tourists have visited the famous garden in the last one week so far.

He said that the tourists include locals, people from other states of the country and foreigners.

As per the date around 42,967 locals have visited the garden in the last week, while 72,670 national and 431 international tourists have visited the garden.

Notably, Tulip Garden was thrown open to visitors on March 19 and since then the garden has been witnessing a massive footfall of the tourists. (KNS)
