One person was killed and another injured when a truck they were travelling in met with an accident in the Mendhar area in Poonch district on Tuesday.
Official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS), reported that the accident took place near Mankote Bhatakhas when the truck loaded with cement skidded off the road and fell into a roadside open area.
One person Maroof Malik (40) son of Abdul Khaliq of Kayni Mankote died on the spot and the driver Mohammad Iqbal (36) son of Mohammad Hussain of Mankote was injured and shifted to hospital by local volunteers. (GNS)
