Militants managed to escape after brief exchange of fire with police and security forces in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday, officials said.

Kashmir Police Zone tweeted, “After initial brief encounter during cordon & search operation in Gundpora Rampora area of Bandipora, militants managed to escape from the spot. However, our team chasing them. Further details shall follow.” (GNS)
