A light intensity earthquake, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale, hit Kashmir on Monday morning.

No report of any casualty or damage to property has been received from anywhere so far.

An official from the disaster management authority said: “Earthquake of magnitude: 3.4, occurred on 23.05.2022, Time: 10:31:16 IST, Lat: 34.43 N, 75.03 E, Depth: 50 Km , Region: Bandipore, Jammu & Kashmir.”
