Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday solved a kidnapping case of a newborn baby and arrested the accused person involved in the crime.
In a statement issued by a police spokesman said, “a day old baby was kidnapped from Lal Ded Hospital Srinagar by an unknown person.”
Within 12 hours police team from Rajbagh Police Station arrested the accused and FIR No. 17/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rajbagh.
“The kidnapped new born baby was safely recovered. After completion of necessary formalities, the new born baby was handed over to his family,” he added.
