India and Pakistan armies held a Brigade Commander level flag meeting at Chakan Da Bagh Crossing Point on Friday.

In the meeting, the implementation mechanism as regards ceasefire as per understanding at the local level was discussed, officials told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS).

“This is important meeting after the recent DGMOs meet in which ceasefire understanding by reached,” the officials said.

Earlier, on 24 February, the armies of both nations reiterated to follow the 2003 ceasefire agreement.  “Both sides agreed for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and cease firing along the Line of Control and all other sectors with effect from midnight 24/25 Feb 2021,” the joint statement said.
