Gold prices in the national capital on Friday rallied by 416 rupees to 50,802 rupees per 10 grams, reported Press Trust of India (PTI).
According to HDFC Securities, the yellow metal settled at 50,386 rupees per 10 grams in the previous trade.
Silver also surged by 1,014 rupees to 61,343 rupees per kg from 60,329 rupees per kg in the previous trade.
“Spot gold prices for 24-carat gold in Delhi were up by Rs 416 reflecting overnight rally in COMEX gold prices,” said Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities) at HDFC Securities.
In the international market, while the gold was quoting lower at USD 1,850 per ounce, silver was trading flat at USD 21.90 per ounce.
