Srinagar: The government of India on Tuesday extended the ban on all domestic and international passenger flights till 3 May amid the scare of COVID-19 across the country.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the on-going lockdown in the country will be extended till 3 May as the cases of coronavirus spike.
The decision came after Modi discussed the which road to take ahead with chief ministers and political leaders of states across the country in a video-conference.
The PM also said that after close monitoring, a few district and zones — who do not report any new cases or let the hotspots increase will be allowed to resume important activites from 20 April, with certain conditions.
So far, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Inida is 10,363 with 339 deaths.
