Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for financial year 2022-23 in parliament at 11:00 am today, The Outlook reported.
The Budget will focus on boosting spending for faster economic growth which was hampered due to Covid-19.
While the Indian economy has recovered from the pandemic-blues for sure, it’s still far away from the double-digit growth that used to be the target of every finance minister till 2018.
The Economic Survey for current financial year which was presented on Monday pegged Indian economy to grow at 9.2 per cent for the current fiscal.
