A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man, who was tested positive for COVID-19, died on Friday at SK Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Srinagar.

The trooper was identified as Abhimaniya Sahu of 96 BN CRPF, posted at Mattan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, an official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer. He died at SKIMS Soura days after testing positive for COVID-19.

He said that the CRPF man was admitted in the hospital on Saturday morning where breathed his last this evening. (KNO)
