Srinagar: At least 19 health workers that include two doctors were tested for the deadly virus in Jammu’s Udhampur hospital, health officials said.

Local news gathering agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoting officials reported that two doctors and 17 para-medical staff tested positive for the deadly virus at district hospital Udhampur.

Lieutenant Colonel Inam Danish said that two doctors and 17 para-medical staff members have tested positive in Udhampur district hospital and all of them have already been quarantined.

District Magistrate Udhampur, Dr Piyush Singla said that two doctors and 17 para-medical staff members tested positive. “All of them were high risk contacts who attended delivery of a pregnant positive lady and were already under quarantine,” he said—(KNO)
