Srinagar: In another death due to COVID-19, a 76-year-old man from Kulgam district of South Kashmir, who had tested positive for the virus, succumbed at a hospital on Saturday late evening.

His death has taken the total tally of deaths due to COVID-19 to 94 in the Jammu and Kashmir.

As per the officials, the deceased patient died at the Chest Diseases hospital in Srinagar on Saturday late evening. He was tested positive for the virus in Shri Maharaja Hari Singh Hospital in Srinagar. After testing positive, he was shifted to CD Hospital for treatment, as the hospital is designated for COVID-19 specially.

Suffering from several underlying health conditions, the patient died immediately after arriving at the hospital.
