Srinagar: Days after a steady spike in a number of coronavirus cases, Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported sixty-one COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally in J-K to 4,346.
Giving district-wise break up, officials told a local news agency, Global News Agency, said two cases were reported in Kulgam, five in Baramulla, thirteen in Srinagar, four in Anantnag, one in Shopian, seven in Kupwara, one in Bandipora, nine in Budgam, one each in Pulwama and Ganderbal, four in Jammu, two in Ramban, one in Udhampur, three each in Kathua and Reasi, and four in Kishtwar.
Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, told GNS that out of the samples processed at the viral diagnostic lab today, thirty-one returned positive for the virus.
Professor Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura, told GNS that among them, eleven are from Srinagar, seven From Kupwara, five each from Baramulla and Anantnag, two from Bandipora and one from Shopian. (GNS)
