Srinagar: Thirty people on Friday tested positive for the COVID-19 in Kashmir, taking the tally of the coronavirus infected patients in J-K to 823.

Official sources told that twenty-three of the fresh cases were confirmed at COVID-19 laboratory at the Chest and Disease hospital and included fourteen from Budgam, five from Kulgam, three from a Srinagar hospital, and one from Duroo Anantnag.

The remaining seven cases were confirmed at viral diagnostic lab at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science, and include three from Ganderbal, two from Urhanhal Anantnag, and one each from Baramulla and Chadoora, Budgam. (GNS)
