Srinagar: Twenty-nine more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir.
The government’s spokesperson, Rohit Kansal, confirmed that the tally in the Union Territory rose to 523. “But dont let this number daunt you. This includes 137 recoveries too,” he said. We will keep doing aggressive testing and strict containment. And you have to support by staying at home.”
Kansal also added that active positive cases are 380. Now, as per the government, Bandipora has the most number of cases — 124. Trailing by Srinagar with 85 cases and Shopian with 63 cases.
By far, six people have died due to the infection and 137 have recovered in J-K.
