Srinagar: People recovering from COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir overtook the number of new cases on Friday; wherein thirty-one people recovered only twenty-five new cases were detected.

The government’s spokesperson, Rohit Kansal, confirmed that the tally in the Union Territory rose to 639. “Thirty-one [new] recoveries,” have been reported, he said, while the active case in J-K stood at 384.

Among the total active cases, six are from Jammu and the rest are from Valley.
