Srinagar: Eleven people from Gund Jahangir village infected from COVID-19 have been recovered and discharged from the hospital. Three patients from Tangmarg, one patient each from Naidkhai, Budgam, Sopore and Chatabal, Srinagar were also discharged.

“18 people, who were hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19 last month, were discharged from JVC SKIMS Bemina today after testing negative for the infection,” a medico from the hospital told.

He said that among these 18 people, 12 people are from Bandipora, 4 from Baramulla, and one each from Srinagar and Budgam.

There are over 50 Covid-19 patients from Gund Jahangir village of Bandipora. “For the first time 11 patients from the same village have recovered and discharged from the hospital. All these recovered patients have been advised to quarantine themselves at home,” the medico said. (KNT)
