One person sustained injury in foot allegedly after army fired at him in Charihar area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.

Identified as Bilal Ahmad Rather son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather, the person is said to a disciple of a person known locally as “Rahim Baba”.

The government forces had already launched a CASO launched in adjoining Lachampora of Khag amid reports about the presence of the militants in adjoining area, they said.

A police officer told GNS that the person was removed to hospital having injury in his foot. Further details are awaited. (GNS)
