Body of specially abled woman found in Pulwama

Pulwama: Body of a specially abled woman was found in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening, police said.

A police official while talking to a local news gathering agency said that the body was spotted by some passersby in Rajpora area, following which a team visited the site and took the body into the possession.

The deceased was identified as Azi Begum, 65, wife of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, resident of Akhal Rajpora, the official said that the family had registered the missing report on November 8, 2011.

The body was handed over to the family after conducting necessary medico-legal formalities, the official added. (GNS)
