Srinagar:Block development councilor (BDC) of Khag Budgam was shot dead near his ancestral residence at Dalwash village in the Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday late evening.
A local news gathering agency Global News Service quoting an unnamed official reported that the BDC chairman Bhupinder Singh left two PSOs in police station Khag and left ancestral home alone without informing Station House Officer Khag.
According to reports, Singh used to stay at Aloochibagh Srinagar and had gone to Khag today. They said that he had contested election independently but was supported by PDP. (GNS)
