A blast like sound created panic in the main market Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday late evening.
According to reports reaching to a local news agency, Kashmir News service (KNS), a blast like sound was heard in Pattan area. Locals rushed to their homes fearing it was a grenade attack.
Sources said that forces who rushed to the spot found out that there was no attack.
Meanwhile, a police offical told KNS that no attack was carried out, however, a blast like sound was heard. We are ascertaining the facts, he said. (KNS)
